Accident Victim's Condition Upgraded To Fair

Last Friday, 23-year-old Stephanie Biaz reportedly rolled the car she was driving in Parma Township severely injuring both she and her passenger, 23-year-old Alex Ancrile. Both passenger and driver were hospitalized at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor. It is reported that their conditions have been upgraded to fair today.

The Jackson County Sheriff's Office indicated that it took them about 20 minutes to find the vehicle because Ancrile, who called 911 from his cell phone, did not know their location at the time of the crash and the cell phone provider could not locate his whereabouts. Both driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts. Police reported that alcohol likely contributed to the crash.
