Teens Injured In Head-On Collision

At approximately 10:15 Saturday night, 21-year-old Justin McFarlane was driving his 2001 Chevy pickup truck eastbound on Woodruff Lake Road when a vehicle coming toward him out of a curve crossed the center line and struck him head-on. The force of impact pushed McFarlane's truck backwards into a tree. The truck reportedly causing the car accident was driven by Tyler Stanley, 18, of Milford Township. Both he and his 18-year-old passenger, Thomas Cornyn, were injured in the collision. Cornyn was reportedly ejected through the rear window of Stanley's truck and landed in the bed of the pickup. Both injured teens were taken to Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital for treatment of their injuries. It is believed alcohol was a factor.
