Man Charged With Second-Degree Murder In Fatal Crash

Last October, Bradley Wayne Howard was driving his 1995 Ford Mustang at a high rate of speed when he ran a red light and crashed into Stephanie Joyce Stone killing her and injuring her two children. The force of the crash caused Ms. Stone's vehicle to crash into three other vehicles. Mr. Howard is being charged with second-degree murder, operating while intoxicated causing death, operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, operating while intoxicated, operating with a suspended license, failure to stop at an accident causing death, failure to stop at an accident causing serious injury and having an open intoxicant in a motor vehicle. The judge refused to dismiss the second-degree murder charge and has scheduled a jury trial for October 3rd. A final pre-trial is scheduled for September 21 st.
