Woman Arrested For DUI Has Infant In Car

There is a story out of Arizona about a woman arrested for of driving under the influence of drugs following an accident. Police believe that she had taken physician-prescribed Oxycodone – albeit 3 times the recommended dose – along with a Zanex before getting behind the wheel. The woman allegedly drove over a sidewalk and collided with a fenced-in propane tank with her 1-year-old in the car. Fortunately, the propane tank did not explode.


While there is no mention of any additional charges facing the woman in Arizona, in Michigan, if you are charged with DUI and have a child under the age of 16 in the car, you may be charged with the additional charge of misdemeanor child endangerment.
