Man Shoots Neighbor Over Property Line Dispute

A 56-year-old man is expected to be arraigned this morning in the 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills on charges of assault with intent to murder, felony firearms and use of pepper spray. It is being alleged that the suspect shot his neighbor in the buttocks because of a property line dispute. The suspect allegedly accused the victim of storing his personal property over the property line. The two men reportedly argued, the suspect used pepper spray on the victim and the two men struggled with one or both ending up on the ground. The suspect was allegedly still o the ground when he shot the victim who was standing. As of last night, the victim was still listed in critical condition and further surgery may be required.
