Witness In Murder Case Goes To Jail On Drug Charge

Jamar Antwon Frederick testified for the prosecution in a murder trial held last month in the shooting death of 19-year-old Andrea Parnell. Frederick's testimony was a crucial element in the prosecution's case that ultimately convicted Frederick 's cousin, Antonio Dequary Ramsey, of second-degree murder and a felony firearm charge.

Now it is being reported that Frederick pleaded guilty on December 2nd to delivery/manufacture of marijuana. On Monday, 14th Circuit Court Judge James M. Graves, Jr. sentenced Frederick to 60 days in the Muskegon County Jail. At his sentencing, the prosecution in the murder case reportedly appeared before the court and advised the judge of Frederick 's role in the murder trial.
