It is being reported that an 87-year-old man from
Ypsilanti
was stuck and killed by a pick-up truck Tuesday night as we walked across
Washtenaw Avenue
.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 8:39 p.m. and found the man lying in the roadway in the 900 block of
Washtenaw Avenue
.
Firefighters and Huron Valley Ambulance attendants attempted to revive the man but he was pronounced dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
