Drug Raids Lead to Multiple Arrests

A joint effort between law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of eight individuals wanted for a variety of drug crimes in the state of Michigan.

Three raids were held last week by the Clinton County's Special Operations Team, officers with the Drug Enforcement Agency, the Lansing Police Department Undercover Unit and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. By working together, these departments went through the blocks of Michigan streets on a massive drug hunt.

In addition to the eight arrests, officers found drugs in every location they entered. At one residence, they even found a long gun and a handgun. Officers say that all of the suspects were brought to the local police department until their scheduled arraignments.
