Defendant Gets Deal with Prosecutor Later Arrested for Murder

A man who cut a deal with prosecutors several years ago has been arrested again, this time in connection to a brutal murder.

Nolan Ray George was taken into custody for the murder of Cindy Garland Rose in Ohio. He is also believed to be responsible for the murder of Tammy King. However, the jury that has convened in Oakland County Michigan is focusing on 67-year-old Rose's murder. This murder happened in the late 60's.

Why the delay?

Back then, George cut a deal with the prosecution team when he was arrested for a murder in Detroit, Michigan. He served just ten years for that murder rap and was released, only to move to Ohio to strangle Rose. However, he was only charged with manslaughter as the coroner determined that Rose died from exposure, not from the strangulation.
