At around 2 a.m. early Sunday morning, police attempted to pull over a vehicle to effectuate a traffic stop on McKinley Road near Hewitt Road in Ypsilanti Township. The man reportedly jumped from his moving car and ran. A foot chase ensued. Michigan State Police and the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Department eventually found the man and arrested him. It is being reported that police will be seeking additional charges of fleeing and eluding police and resisting arrest in addition to the multiple felony warrants already in place.
