Four Injured In Pickup - Train Accident

Yesterday, four people were injured when a train collided with a pickup truck near the intersection of Kipp and Hull Roads. A witness to the crash reportedly said that the pickup truck was driving westbound behind her toward the railroad crossing. She further stated that the truck swerved around her after she slammed on her brakes and then skidded onto the train tracks where it collided with the train and rolled about 4 times before being pushed off the track.

It has been reported that the driver of the pickup was airlifted to Sparrow Hospital in serious condition while a woman and two children, all passengers of the pickup, were taken to Sparrow Hospital by ambulance. Their conditions are not known. The intersection is reportedly equipped with warning lights and bells but no crossing gates.
