As the season changes from fall to winter, so must change our driving habits. More space must be allowed between vehicles, speeds must be lowered and extra caution must be taken while driving under bridges and on overpasses. Tragically, that extra caution was not taken last night and a woman lost her life because a driver lost control.
It is being reported that last night around 10:45, a pickup truck was westbound on I-94 when the driver lost control on the bridge over Parma Road in Parma Township. The truck containing 4 people, including a baby, rolled several times before coming to a stop. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and another person was thrown from the truck. The survivors of the crash were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
