Felony murder is punishable by life without parole. The other charge, a 15-year felony, is punishable up to life in prison.

New Haven Police and the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office filed the charges. King is to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore.
