An Ypsilanti woman is accused of shooting and killing her husband at their apartment yesterday morning. The woman was arraigned this afternoon on charges of murder, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and false report of a felony. She is being held without bond.

Washtenaw County sheriff's deputies allege that the woman shot her husband in the head and then called 911 reporting that she was a victim of a home invasion and that she had shot an intruder. Officials further claim that the woman deliberately mislead the dispatchers in an attempt to cover up the fact that she murdered her husband. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 6th.
